Quail Valley Charities has awarded RCMA a $20,000 grant to help hire an Early Childhood Specialist for the Robert G. Covill Children’s House in Vero Beach. This is the eighth consecutive year that Quail Valley Charities has supported the RCMA centers in the Indian River area.
“We are honored to have the continued support of Quail Valley Charities, and especially for this important initiative,” said Isabel Garcia, Executive Director of RCMA. “The Early Childhood Specialist will train and offer guidance and professional development for our teachers to strengthen their skills and methods. This project supports our mission by creating an atmosphere in which the children we serve benefit from having teachers who are able to make full use of High Scope Curriculum, which helps to prepare children for kindergarten. This is great news for RCMA and our students!”
Since its inception in 2001, Quail Valley Charities (QVC) has dedicated their funding to selected non-profit organizations and programs in Indian River County, which focuses solely on children and their education. To date, Quail Valley Charities has donated over $11 million to non-profit children and education organizations within Indian River County.
