Annual Lipman Family Backpack Giveaway a Huge Success

eblast backpack giveaway

Just in time for the start of the new school year, RCMA once again teamed up with Lipman Family Farms for their annual backpack giveaway at Immokalee High School recently. The event is a fantastic initiative aimed at assisting families and empowering students for the upcoming school year.

Due to the generosity of the community, an estimated 1,750 backpacks filled with essential school supplies were given away to students eager to start the school year on the right foot. And speaking of feet, the students were also able to get a new pair of shoes, as well as a new bike! Other resources were available as well, including community resources, food, prize giveaways, and more. The event was an enjoyable festive atmosphere, with activities for children of all ages.

RCMA thanks Lipman Family Farms for spearheading the event, as well as the many community groups that donated goods and services to the students and families. We appreciate your investment in the education of these students.
