RCMA Congratulates Maria Munguia Trejo

RCMA wants to congratulate alumna Maria Munguia Trejo. She was recently named Woman of the Year by the Immokalee Eastern Chamber of Commerce. Maria is the Community Relations Coordinator for Lipman Family Farms. Born in Michoacán, Mexico, Maria’s parents brought her and her younger brother to the United States in search of a better life. She attended RCMA as a child and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. Today, Maria organizes the Lipman Family Farms annual 5K race as well as their huge Backpack Giveaway every August. We re so proud of Maria and all of her accomplishments!
