Smiles are a little brighter at ICA

ica scholars

A visit to the dentist is usually a tough time for most, but for the scholars at Immokalee Community Academy, the day was all smiles. Dr. Rose Martine Gedeon and her team from Morning Star Children’s Dentistry put their Naples office duties on hold to spend time with our kids. Dr. Martine is one of the area’s leading pediatric dentists specializing in oral health and caring for the smiles of children of all ages. She started as an elementary school teacher, so she really knows how to teach children all about dental hygiene. During her visit, the kids learned the proper way to brush their teeth and how to floss. The team from Morning Star also gifted each scholar with a goodie bag filled with toothpaste, floss and a toothbrush. Many of the scholars do not have access to annual dental checkups, so this was exactly what the dentist ordered! Thank you, Dr. G!
