RCMA RECEIVES $15,000 GRANT FROM THE COLLIER COMMUNITY FOUNDATION

Timber Ridge fun 3

RCMA is pleased to announce it has received a $15,000 grant from the Collier Community Foundation. These funds will support the early education program at RCMA’s Timber Ridge Child Development Center in Immokalee.

The program is dedicated to empowering children ages 3-5 from low-income and ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) families, giving them the foundation for lifelong success. With high-quality care, low teacher-child ratios, and a deep focus on kindergarten readiness, RCMA strives to ensure each child is prepared to excel. The program works hand-in-hand with the entire family, providing the support and resources needed to build a strong path to kindergarten and beyond.

“This generous support from the Collier Community Foundation will have a meaningful and immediate impact on the children and families we serve at our Timber Ridge Child Development Center,” said Isabel Garcia, Executive Director of RCMA. “By investing in high-quality early education, the Foundation is helping ensure our youngest learners enter kindergarten confident, prepared, and ready to succeed, while strengthening the families who are working hard to build a better future.”

The Collier Community Foundation awards annual grants through a competitive application and review process. Selected organizations receive grant dollars from the Foundation’s discretionary funds. These funds were gifted by donors who believe in the Community Foundation’s ability to mobilize resources to address the community’s greatest needs.
