“RCMA is pleased to announce the generous contribution of a $50,000 grant from Driscoll’s Inc. to kick off a capital campaign aimed at constructing RCMA’s Mulberry Community Academy.
Driscoll’s Inc., a family-owned company renowned for growing the finest berries for over 100 years, has a long-standing commitment to enriching the communities where they operate. Through their Charitable Giving program, Driscoll’s, in collaboration with independent growers and local experts, identifies community needs and works with nonprofit leaders to devise strategic solutions. A diverse charitable giving committee within Driscoll’s reviews and approves grants to support nonprofit partners, ensuring projects become self-sustaining and have a lasting impact.
Since 2016, Driscoll’s has awarded nearly $2 million in grants, supporting over 400 organizations. Their charitable investments focus on strengthening communities, engaging employees, and fostering long-term relationships with the towns and cities they call home.
“We are incredibly grateful to Driscoll’s for their generous support,” said Isabel Garcia, Executive Director of RCMA. “This seed grant will provide the necessary resources to advance the Mulberry Community Academy Capital Campaign, allowing us to expand our educational services and continue making a positive impact in the lives of children and families in rural Florida.”
The Mulberry Community Academy Capital Campaign aims to enhance RCMA’s facilities and programs, ensuring that children in these underserved communities have access to high-quality education and opportunities for a brighter future.
The collaborative efforts between RCMA and Driscoll’s Inc. underscore a shared dedication to fostering educational excellence and nurturing the growth of young minds within the Mulberry community.”
