23rd Annual Golf Tournament a HUGE SUCCESS!

RCMA Golf Event Finals 71 big

The weather was perfect, the course was immaculate, and everyone had a great time at this year’s Lipman Family Farms Golf Classic. Now in its 23rd year, the tournament, held at the Naples Heritage Golf & Country Club, gross ed nearly $120,000. A record number of raffle tickets were also sold for the tournament which benefited RCMA, Florida’s largest provider of nonprofit early childhood education pro grams as well as a nationally recognized K-8th grade charter school operator.

Golfers were treated to a free sleeve of balls, a golf glove, continental breakfast and Bloody Mary’s before the shotgun start sent them to the links. After playing 18 holes on the amazing course at Naples Heritage, the golfers returned to an amazing lunch where the winners were announced and dozens of door prizes handed out.

During the lunch, RCMA board member Sonia Tighe was named as the Brad Young in Service to Children and Families Award recipient for 2023. While Ms.Tighe was unable to attend, RCMA Executive Director Isabel Garcia accepted the award on her behalf.

“A sincere THANK YOU to all participants, volunteers and sponsors for our tournament this year,” said Isabel Garcia . “It’s with the generosity of everyone that this event has been able to continue and be successful year after year. See you next year!”

Many thanks to all of the sponsors of the event, including Food & Supply Source, NES, M.E. Wilson, and Publix Supermarket Charities among others. We could not do the tournament without your generosity. Thank you!
