Avon Park Community Child Development Center (Child Care Partner)

RCMA collaborates with the Avon Park Community Child Care Center to provide free childcare and VPK programs, offering dual-language early childhood education in a safe, nurturing environment. While the Center is not operated by RCMA, this partnership enhances the availability of services such as health and nutrition support for children, as well as resources that empower parents to engage with community partners in their parenting journey.

RCMA provides oversight to ensure the Center meets Head Start and DCF standards, while supporting families by involving them in decision-making processes and providing opportunities for growth and learning. Teachers and family support staff benefit from ongoing training to enhance their skills and effectiveness.

Thanks to community partnerships like this one, emergency needs of families are also addressed. However, additional resources are essential to further expand services for families and their children.
