The students of RCMA’s Immokalee Community Academy (ICA) are proving that hard work, leadership, and service make a difference. Their efforts have helped the school earn the 2025–2026 National Beta School of Merit award.
The National Beta program encourages students to do well in school, become leaders, serve others, and build strong character. ICA received this honor by making the program available to students in every eligible grade. This year, more than 6,100 schools across the country earned the same recognition.
“Our National Beta Club shows what students can achieve when they work hard, lead by example, and serve others,” said ICA Principal Zulaika Quintero. “We are very proud of our Beta students for their dedication and the way they represent our school. Their success reflects the caring and supportive environment we work to create every day. National Beta gives our students opportunities to grow as leaders, give back to their community, and succeed both in and out of the classroom.”
The school also received a letter of congratulations from National Beta CEO Bobby Hart, who thanked ICA for its commitment to helping students grow into future leaders.
Congratulations to the ICA students, teachers, and staff for this outstanding achievement. Their success is another example of RCMA’s mission to open doors to opportunity through education.
