Long-time RCMA employee wins prestigious Latino award

Gloria 2023 Florida Lideres Award

From what started as a way to give back to her community has resulted in a lifelong career, worthy of recognition. That is the story of Gloria Padilla, Community Relations Manager at the RCMA state office in Immokalee, who was recently honored with the 2023 Florida Lideres Award at the Fort Myers Taste of Latino Festival.

The award celebrates extraordinary individuals who have made a significant impact on the Latino community. The award recognized Gloria’s unwavering commitment to her work at RCMA and in her hometown of Immokalee.

Gloria started with RCMA 42 years ago. During her many years with the organization, she has held a variety of roles, all demonstrating her genuine care for the children of RCMA and their families, as well as the community of Immokalee. Her involvement in numerous community service initiatives consistently impacts the lives of those she serves. Thank you, Gloria, for your commitment to the community and to RCMA!
